Discover Gandesa

Gandesa is the capital of Terra Alta, a Tarraconese comarca with undulating landscapes and deep wine culture. For the pilgrim of the Jacobean Way of Ebro, it's an enogastronomic and cultural stop of great interest. The locality is famous for its wines with Denomination of Origin. Its major architectural jewel is the Bodega Cooperativa, a work by architect Cèsar Martinell, Gaudí's disciple, known as one of the "Cathedrals of Wine" for its modernist majesty. Additionally, Gandesa was the scene of the Ebro Battle, and it preserves vestiges of the Civil War. With good services, it is a perfect stage to enjoy wine, history, and local gastronomy.
