Discover Fuentes de Ebro

Fuentes de Ebro, an important town on the banks of the Ebro River, is the point of convergence and end of the Camino de Santiago of Castellón, which here joins the historic Camino Jacobeo del Ebro. For the pilgrim arriving from the Maestrazgo, this Zaragoza town represents the arrival at the great river valley and union with a major Jacobean route of walkers. The locality is a large agricultural center, famous for its onion with Denomination of Origin, and offers all necessary services for a well-deserved rest. Its heritage includes the church of San Miguel Arcángel and several solar houses. The surroundings, marked by the fertile Ebro valley, offer a flat and pleasant landscape for walking. In the context of pilgrimage, Fuentes de Ebro is a crossroads of roads, a place to celebrate the end of one route and the beginning of another, sharing experiences with pilgrims from different origins before continuing together on the journey towards Logroño and, finally, Santiago de Compostela.
