The Town

Discover Irurzun

Irurtzun is a Navarran locality that functions as an important communication hub, situated strategically between Pamplona and the Barranca region. For the Vasco-Interior pilgrim on the Camino, it's a functional stop offering all necessary services. The landscape is dominated by the imposing Aralar and Andía mountains, offering a beautiful natural environment. Although of more industrial character, it's a good starting point for exploring the area or for a comfortable rest before continuing the route. Its location makes it the entrance to the Araquil corridor, a valley that guides the pilgrim towards the west.
