Outeiro

Outeiro is a small rural village in the municipality of Vedra, one of the last stops on the Via de la Plata before entering Santiago de Compostela. For pilgrims who already feel close to their destination, it's a place for a final rest in a peaceful setting. The village, surrounded by fields and forests, represents the essence of Galician rural landscape. It is an stage for final reflection, to assimilate the experiences of the long journey and to prepare mentally for the exciting arrival at Plaza del Obradoiro. Although its services are limited, the serenity it offers is its greatest value in this final stretch of the pilgrimage.
