Pedrosa de Valdeporres is a locality in the Las Merindades comarca, an important stop on the Forgotten Way. Situated in mountain surroundings by the Engaña River, it offers a beautiful landscape. The locality is linked to the history of the Santander-Mediterranean railway, and nearby is the entrance to the famous but unfinished Túnel de la Engaña. For pilgrims, it's an overnight stop with services allowing for rest in nature, ideal for hiking and enjoying one of the most picturesque valleys in northern Burgos.
