Pesaguero

Pesaguero is a quiet municipality in the Liébana valley, in Cantabria. For the pilgrim walking on the Lebaniego route, it's one of the stops that allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty of this region, at the feet of the Picos de Europa. The locality, made up of several villages, offers a landscape of green meadows, forests and mountains. It is an ideal place for a restorative break, to enjoy Lebaniega cuisine (especially its stew) and experience rural mountain life in Cantabria. Its peaceful atmosphere and natural surroundings make it a good base to explore the region or simply to recharge before arriving at Potes.
