Pinos Puente is an important locality in the Vega of Granada, a historic crossroads in the province. Its identity is marked by the imposing stone bridge of the 16th century that bears its name and was key to communication between Granada and Córdoba. For the pilgrim who follows the Mozárabe route, it is one of the first stages after leaving the Nazarí capital.
