Discover Sangüesa

Sangüesa is a monumental city and one of the most important stops on the Aragonese Way. Its rich history as a crossroads and seat of the Navarrese court is reflected in an exceptional heritage. The jewel of the city is the façade of Santa María la Real Church, considered one of the peaks of Romanesque sculpture in Spain, with a detailed representation of the Last Judgment. Additionally, the Prince of Viana Palace, the San Francisco de Asís convent, and the medieval bridge over the Aragón River complete an ensemble of great interest. For the pilgrim, Sangüesa is a cultural stop of first order, with all necessary services and an atmosphere that evokes centuries of Jacobean history.
