Stage Avignonet-Lauragais to Baziège

This stage brings the pilgrim closer to the great city of Toulouse, on a route that partly follows the Canal du Midi, a World Heritage Site. It is a day of considerable distance but with a flat profile, very pleasant because it runs alongside the water. The landscape is one of riverbank and farmland. The arrival at Baziège, a village on the outskirts of Toulouse, is the prelude to the "Pink City". It is a stage for enjoying the engineering of the canal and the tranquillity of its waters.
