It's a day to enjoy the tranquility of the path and the anticipation of reaching the destination. Arrival at O Pedrouzo, a town with all services, is the last stop before the final push. It's a day of reflection and preparation for the final effort.
The penultimate stage of the Camino Francés is a 19 km journey that takes the pilgrim from Arzúa to O Pedrouzo. The path starts in Arzúa (380 m) and follows a mostly descending profile, with some undulations, until the town of O Pedrouzo (290 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with eucalyptus forests and meadows. It is a calm and easy walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and look forward to arriving in Santiago. The arrival in O Pedrouzo, a town with all the amenities, is the last stop before the final stretch. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich scenic experience, a perfect balance on the Camino Francés.
