Elizondo, the capital of the noble and verdant Baztán Valley, is the main urban and service center of the Baztan Route. This Navarran lordly village welcomes the pilgrim with a unique architecture, where its numerous palaces and blazoned houses stand out, characterized by the distinctive red stone of the area. The river Baztan runs through the town, and its bridges, such as the one in Txokoto, offer one of the most picturesque scenes on the route.
