Stage Description
This stage is an enjoyable stroll that brings the pilgrim to the great city of León. The route is flat and follows part of the course of the Torío River. Arrival in León, with its impressive Gothic cathedral, San Isidoro's basilica, and Gaudí's Casa Botines, is a monumental endpoint. It's a day for enjoying the anticipation of arrival at one of the most important cities on the route.
The stage from Mansilla de las Mulas to León is an 18km journey that brings the pilgrim to the great city of León. The route starts in Mansilla de las Mulas (790 m) and follows a profile mainly flat, with a gentle ascent towards León (810 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, following in part the course of the Torío River. It is an enjoyable walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. Arrival in León, with its impressive Gothic cathedral, San Isidoro Basilica, and Casa Botines by Gaudí, is a monumental final stage. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich historical experience, a perfect balance on the French Way.
