The León to Hospital of Órbigo stage is a 33-kilometer long journey that ventures into the Leonese highlands. The path starts in León (810 m) and follows a mostly flat profile, with a gentle ascent towards Hospital de Órbigo (820 m). The route passes through a landscape of great beauty, with fields of grain and infinite horizons.
