The Aulnay-de-Saintonge to Saint-Jean-d'Angély stage is a 20km short journey that brings the pilgrim to historic city of Saint-Jean-d'Angély. The route starts from Aulnay-de-Saintonge (50 m) and follows a mostly flat profile, with a gentle descent towards Saint-Jean-d'Angély (20 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with vineyards and fields of cultivation. It is an enjoyable walk that allows you to appreciate the scenery and arrive in time to explore the destination city. Arrival at Saint-Jean-d'Angély is a moment of great excitement.
