The Town

Discover Cajarc

Cajarc is an enjoyable town situated in a bend of the Lot River, a stop with lively atmosphere on the Le Puy Way. It is known for its connection to former president Georges Pompidou, who had his holiday home here. The village, at the transition from the Rouergue region to Quercy, offers pilgrims good services and an ideal natural environment for rest. Its walk along the river, its water plan for nautical activities and its summer atmosphere make it a very pleasant stop. It is a place to enjoy local cuisine, replenish strength and prepare for stages that enter the dry calcareous plateaus of Quercy.
