Stage Description
Cycle-touring stage that crosses the border between Cáceres and Salamanca. Its 60 km or so link Cáparra with Fuenterroble de Salvatierra, climbing from the dehesa of Cáceres up to the Salamanca plateau. Fuenterroble is famous for its parish hostel Vía de la Plata, run by Padre Blas, a landmark figure of the Camino, in a livestock-farming area of the district of the Tierras de Béjar.
