Discover Cáparra

The Roman City of Cáparra is one of the most important archaeological sites along the Via de la Plata in Extremadura. Its icon is the impressive quadrifrontal arch (of four faces), unique in Spain. For the pilgrim, passing under this arch is a magical moment that directly connects with the millennial history of the road. Although the city lies in ruins, the site has an interpretation center and nearby services for the walker.
