Stage Description

This stage continues along the Atlantic coast, on a route of great beauty. The road passes through the Natural Park of North Coast, a landscape of dunes and marshes. It's a day to enjoy nature in its purest form. Arrival at Esposende, a maritime village at the mouth of the Cávado River, is a picturesque endpoint. It's a day that requires good physical effort, but rewards with unforgettable landscapes.
The stage from Vila do Conde to Esposende is a 25km journey that continues along the Atlantic coast. The route starts at Vila do Conde (10m) and follows a mainly flat profile, with a gentle ascent overall towards Esposende (10m). The route passes through the Natural Park of the North Coast, a landscape of dunes and marshes. It is an enjoyable walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. Arrival in Esposende, a maritime town at the mouth of the Cávado river, is a picturesque finale.
