Stage Description
The first stage of the Portuguese Coastal Way is an urban and peri-urban route that follows the Atlantic coast. It's a flat and pleasant journey, allowing for a peaceful departure from the monumental Oporto. The path passes through beaches and fishing villages. Arrival at Vila do Conde, a beautiful town at the mouth of the Ave River, is a charming final stage.
