Stage of the Camino

Stage Description

The last and most magical stage of the Camino. It is charged with emotion and symbolism. The first part unfolds in a rural environment. The first major moment arrives at Lavacolla, where pilgrims used to purify themselves in the past. Shortly after, one faces the climb up Monte do Gozo, from which the first and eagerly awaited views of the Cathedral towers are obtained. From then on, a descent and an urban walk lead the pilgrim through the historic quarter until the final apotheosis: entering the Praza do Obradoiro.
