This stage says goodbye to Castile and León to enter Galicia. The route is a continuous ascent to the top of A Canda, the entrance to Galicia. It's a day of great beauty and physical demand. Arrival at A Gudiña, an important communication hub, is the end of the stage in the midst of the mountains. This stage marks the entry into the land of the Apostle.
