Stage Description

After the difficulty of climbing to O Cebreiro, this stage is a pleasant descent through the Sierra de los Ancares. The route passes through a beautiful landscape with forests and meadows. It's a day to enjoy nature and recover strength. Arrival in Triacastela, a small village in a valley, is a peaceful stage end. It's a transition day that ventures into the heart of rural Galicia.
The stage from O Cebreiro to Triacastela is a 21-kilometer journey that descends from the Ancares Mountains towards the valley of the River Oribio. The path starts in O Cebreiro (1300m) and follows a mainly descending profile, with some undulations, until the local town of Triacastela (650m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with forests and meadows. It is a peaceful and easy walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and arrive in time to explore the destination town.
