Stage Description

The final stage of the South Portuguese Way trail ends in the spectacular city of Porto. It is a short and mostly urban journey that allows pilgrims to arrive on time to explore one of Europe's most beautiful cities. The entrance to Porto, crossing the iconic Luis I Bridge over the Douro River with views of Ribeira and Vila Nova de Gaia wine cellars, is unforgettable. Arrival at Porto Cathedral (Sé), the final point of the stage, is the reward for all the accumulated effort since Lisbon.
