Stage Description
This long and demanding stage ventures into rural and solitary Galicia. The route is a continuous up and down through a landscape of forests, hills and villages. It's a day to enjoy nature and the solitude of the trail. Arrival at Olveiroa, a small stone village recovered for pilgrims, is an authentic final stage. This stage requires good physical preparation but rewards with unforgettable landscapes.
The Negreira to Olveiroa stage is a 33km long journey that ventures into the most rural and solitary Galicia. The trail starts in Negreira (100m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent towards Olveiroa (300m). The route traverses a beautiful landscape, featuring forests, hills and villages. It's an demanding hike due to its length, but it rewards with the beauty of its scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. Arrival in Olveiroa, a small stone village recovered for pilgrims, is an authentic stage end. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich historical experience, a perfect balance on Fisterra and Muxía Way.
