Stage Description

This stage continues across the Plain of Tierra de Campos, in flat terrain with no difficulties. The landscape remains dominated by cereal fields. It is a transition day that brings the pilgrim close to the province of León. Arrival at Mayorga, a town with a rich Mudéjar heritage and famous for its Bread Museum, offers an interesting cultural and gastronomic final stage.
The journey between Villalón de Campos and Mayorga is a continuation of the crossing through the Land of Campos. The profile is flat and the road runs on dirt tracks. The landscape remains that of the great Castilian plains. Arrival in Mayorga, the last town of Valladolid province on the route, marks the end of the stage. This village has an interesting Mudéjar patrimony, highlighting the tower of the Church of El Salvador. But above all, Mayorga is known for its Pan Museum, a modern and interactive space that pays tribute to the star product of the Land of Campos. The visit is highly recommended. It's a stage end that combines history with gastronomic culture.
