Stage Description
A stage that goes deep into the Subbetica of Cordoba. The almost 25 km of route runs along paths between olive groves, vineyards of the D.O. Montilla-Moriles and limestone mountains. The route climbs gently towards the subbetic mountains. Doña Mencia is a picturesque Cordovan village with a historic center declared a historic-artistic site, a medieval castle and an ethnographic heritage linked to wine and oil. The stage allows you to savor the essence of southern Cordoba.
This is a short and gentle stage that runs through the kinder Galicia. The route is an ongoing rise and fall on comfortable earth trails and forest paths, through a landscape of meadows and eucalyptus forests. The path crosses several streams by medieval bridges, such as the one in Ribadiso. It's a very popular stage. The final day ends in Arzúa, famous for its cheese with Denomination of Origin, where, additionally, the North Way is incorporated.
