The Town

Discover Doña Mencía

Doña Mencía is a beautiful white village nestled in the Natural Park of Subbetica Hills in Córdoba. For the Mozárabe pilgrim, it's one of the most beautiful stops on the route. The town is crossed by the Green Route of Olive Oil, an old railway track ideal for walking. Its old town, with narrow and steep streets, is dominated by the remains of its castle. The locality offers a peaceful atmosphere, rich gastronomy, and privileged natural surroundings. It's an ideal stage for a restorative break, to enjoy the landscape and immerse yourself in the culture of one of Andalusia's most beautiful comarcas.
