The Belorado to San Juan de Ortega stage is a 24 km journey that crosses the Oca Mountains. The route starts in Belorado (650 m) and follows an ascending profile, with the climb up the Oca Mountains as the main challenge. The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with oak and pine forests. It's an demanding walk that requires good physical preparation. The arrival at San Juan de Ortega Monastery (950 m), a haven of peace in the heart of the forest, is a spiritual endpoint. This stage combines a great physical challenge with the beauty of the mountain and a final in a town with a rich cultural and gastronomic offer.
