Marinhas to Viana do Castelo

The stage that unites Marinas with Viana do Castelo is a long but exceptional journey. The route combines sections through the interior, through forests and rural areas, with spectacular stretches along the coast. Its historic center is a maze of charming streets with Renaissance and Manueline buildings. It's essential to climb either on foot or in funicular to the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia. From its dome, one gets some of the most famous and spectacular panoramic views in all of Portugal.
