Stage Description
Stage of the Mozarabic Way in its Jaén section. The 22 km link Martos with Alcaudete through the heart of the olive groves of the province of Jaén, the world's leading producer of olive oil. The landscape is one of immense centuries-old olive groves, with white farmhouses and the Calatravan castles that dominated the area during the Reconquest. Alcaudete preserves a castle of the Order of Calatrava (XIII-XV centuries) and rich artisan tradition of mantecado.
