A stage that draws close to the Gironde estuary. The roughly 22 km leave Charente-Maritime to enter the Gironde, in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyard country. Saint-Aubin-de-Blaye is a small rural village in the Blayais vineyard area, with a winemaking tradition and a well-preserved rural centre.
