Stage Description
This stage is one of the most representative of the Meseta, a 17 km long straight stretch along the ancient Roman road Vía Aquitania. The route is flat, monotonous and without shadows, an authentic mental challenge. It's a day for introspection and meditation in a landscape of infinite horizons. The arrival at Terradillos de los Templarios, a small village with a great history linked to the Order of the Temple, is well-deserved rest.
La etapa de Pons a Mirambeau es una larga jornada que continúa por la región de la Saintonge. El camino parte de Pons y sigue un perfil ondulado, con un suave ascenso hacia Mirambeau. La ruta atraviesa un paisaje de gran belleza, con viñedos y campos de cultivo. Es una caminata exigente por su longitud, pero que recompensa con la belleza de sus parajes y la tranquilidad del entorno. La llegada a Mirambeau es un final de etapa con encanto. Es una etapa que combina un suave ejercicio con una rica experiencia histórica, un perfecto equilibrio en la Vía Turonensis.
