This long stage marks the return to the Valencian Community. The route passes through a beautiful landscape with pine forests and vineyards. The profile is demanding, with continuous ups and downs. Arrival in Requena, the capital of the comarca, is the big prize of the day. Famous for its production of cava and wine, Requena has an impressive medieval old town, the Villa, with its caves, churches, and palaces. It's a monumental and enological stop of first order.
