Stage Description
This long stage enters the Périgord-Lemosín Regional Natural Park. The route is demanding, with an undulating profile and a landscape of forests and hills. It's a day to enjoy nature and solitude on the trail. Arrival in Les Cars, a small village with the ruins of a Renaissance castle, is the end of stage in full nature. This stage requires good physical preparation but rewards with spectacular landscapes.
The Aixe-sur-Vienne to Les Cars stage is a 29 km long journey that ventures into the Périgord-Lemosín Regional Natural Park. The trail starts at Aixe-sur-Vienne (205 m) and follows an undulating profile with a gentle ascent towards Les Cars (350 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with forests and hills. It is a demanding hike that requires good physical and mental preparation. The arrival in Les Cars, a small village with the ruins of a Renaissance castle, is a stage finish in the midst of nature.
