Stage Description
This stage continues through the Baztán Valley, on a terrain of gentle undulations. It is a short and pleasant day that allows you to enjoy with calmness the beauty of the landscape. The route runs through an idyllic environment, with meadows, woods and farmhouses. The path passes by small villages that preserve their traditional charm.
The stage between Elizondo and Berroeta is a short but beautiful journey that allows the pilgrim to continue enjoying the idyllic landscape of the Baztán Valley. The profile is a gentle rise and fall, with no great difficulties. The path runs along trails and tracks that cross lush green meadows where the Latxas sheep graze, and dense forests of oaks and chestnuts. It passes through several small villages, such as Irurita, with its square and noble houses. This stage is for walking without haste, enjoying the peace and harmony of the surroundings. The arrival in the small village of Berroeta marks the end of the journey.
