Stage of the Camino
Stage Description
This stage enters the comarca of Torrijos. The profile is a gentle rise and fall through a landscape of fields of cultivation and olive groves. It's a day of transition that brings the pilgrim back to the tranquility of the Castilian countryside. Arrival in Torrijos, a village with a rich Renaissance heritage, highlighting its Collegiate of the Holy Sacrament, offers a culturally very interesting final stage.
This stage of the Ebro Way is a long and demanding journey across La Mancha's flat plain. The route is flat and monotonous at times, with a landscape of fields of grain and vineyards. Arrival in Ágreda, a town with a rich Mudéjar heritage and an impressive castle, marks a monumental endpoint. This stage puts the pilgrim to the test, but rewards them with the beauty of its scenery and a dream destination.
