Stage of the Camino
Stage Description
Short stage of the Camino de Sagunto through the Palancia valley. The 14 km are moderate, crossing traditional orchards, almond trees and cereal fields of the Alto Palancia of Castellón. Viver is a small town with a preserved rural center and agricultural tradition, a prelude to the mountains of the interior.
This stage of the Ebro Way is a long and demanding journey across La Mancha's flat plain. The route is flat and monotonous at times, with a landscape of fields of grain and vineyards. Arrival in Ágreda, a town with a rich Mudéjar heritage and an impressive castle, marks a monumental endpoint. This stage puts the pilgrim to the test, but rewards them with the beauty of its scenery and a dream destination.
