Discover Almogía

Almogía is an enchanting white village nestled in the Malaga Mountains, a stop with special character on the Mozarabic Way. Its steep and narrow streets, and whitewashed houses are the typical stamp of Andalusian rural architecture. For the pilgrim, Almogía offers mountain scenery, with spectacular views and a tranquil atmosphere. The locality is known for its folklore, especially "Verdiales", one of Europe's oldest musical expressions. Although the stage to reach it is demanding, resting in this village, enjoying its cuisine and authenticity, is a great reward. It is an immersion into Malaga at its deepest and most traditional level.
