Stage of the Camino

Stage Description

After the tough ascent to O Cebreiro, this stage offers a more favorable profile, though not free of difficulties. The journey begins with a gentle ride along the mountain's crest, passing by Alto do Poio, the highest point on the Camino in Galicia. From there, a long and pronounced descent begins that puts the knees to the test. The landscape is that of authentic Galicia: green hills, oak and beech forests, and small stone and slate villages. It's an epic stage of breathtaking scenery that ends in the village of Triacastela.
