Arroyo de Valdearroyo is a small Cantabrian town whose life is linked to water. It is located on the shores of the Ebro Reservoir, very close to the official birthplace of the river. For the pilgrim of the Forgotten Way, it is a stop of exceptional landscape beauty. The surroundings, with the large artificial lake surrounded by mountains, are ideal for birdwatching and enjoying nature. The town offers an atmosphere of total tranquility. It is an stage for a contemplative rest, to enjoy the views and to feel the energy of one of the great rivers of the peninsula at its point of origin.
