The Town

Discover Olea

Olea is a village in south Cantabria, nestled in the historic region of Campoo-Los Valles. For the Forgotten Way pilgrim, it's a stop that offers the authenticity of a mountain town. Its Romanesque church of St Michael is an artistic treasure. The surroundings, of grasslands and forests, and its proximity to the Ebro river springs make it a place of great natural beauty. It's an stage for enjoying calmness, traditional architecture and the hospitality of a Cantabrian village, in a section of the trail known for its solitude and spectacular landscape.
