Discover Boñar

Boñar is the reference village in Eastern Leonese Mountains. For the pilgrim of the Forgotten Way, it's a fundamental stop, an oasis of services in high mountain surroundings. The locality is famous for its "negrillo", an ancient olive tree, and for its cuisine, especially its sausages. Surrounded by a spectacular landscape of calizal peaks and reservoirs, it's a centre for active tourism and fishing. Its lively atmosphere, good services, and strategic location make it the perfect place for a prolonged rest, to explore the nature of the Leónese Picos de Europa and to regain strength with force.
