Hinojosa del Duque

Hinojosa del Duque is one of the most monumental villages in northern Córdoba and an indispensable stop on the Mozarabic Way. Its great treasure is the imposing church of St John the Baptist, known popularly as "The Cathedral of the Mountains" for its grandeur. This Gothic temple, with its plateresque portal, is a masterpiece. The locality also has the convent of the Carmelites and the hermitage of St Anne.
