Discover Lourenzá
Lourenzá is a quiet village in the province of Lugo, a stop with a deep taste of rural Galicia on the Camino del Norte. The locality is especially famous for its "faba de Lourenzá", a high-quality faba bean with Protected Designation of Origin. Its annual festival dedicated to this product is of great interest. In addition to its gastronomic attraction, Lourenzá hosts the impressive Monastery of San Salvador, a jewel of Galician baroque whose façade, designed by the architect of Santiago Cathedral, leaves no one indifferent. For pilgrims, it's an ideal stop to enjoy local cuisine, admire a notable monumental heritage and rest in a peaceful environment before continuing on to Mondoñedo.
