Discover Pétrola

Petrola is a small Albacete local that boasts a natural gem: its saltwater lagoon. This wetland is an important refuge for aquatic birds, highlighting its large colony of flamingos, which offers a colorful spectacle in the midst of the Manchegan plain. For pilgrims on the Southeastern Way, it's a place of great interest for ornithology and landscape. The town, with a rural character, offers a peaceful atmosphere and basic services. A visit to the lagoon and its interpretation center is highly recommended. It's an episode to enjoy nature, observe fauna, and find peace in a unique natural environment in Castile-La Mancha.
