Ponteceso is an important village in the Bergantiños region and a key stop on the Camiño dos Faros. The birthplace of poet Eduardo Pondal, author of the Galician hymn, the town breathes culture and galleguidad. Situated at the mouth of the Anllóns river, it offers a beautiful estuary and marshland landscape, ideal for birdwatching. The village has an enjoyable riverside promenade, an imposing bridge, and all the necessary services for walkers.
