Sigüeiro, the capital of the comarca of Oroso, is the last major town that the pilgrim of the English Way crosses before their triumphant arrival in Santiago de Compostela. Situated on the banks of the Tambre River, its most recognizable landmark is the imposing medieval bridge, a witness to the passage of countless walkers over the centuries. The village has grown into an important hub of services, offering the pilgrim a complete range of accommodations, restaurants and shops to tackle with guarantees the final and exciting stage.
