Torrefresneda is a small local entity in the municipality of Guareña, in Badajoz. For the Mozárabe pilgrim, it's a stop that offers rest in an environment of total tranquility. This village, born as a colonized settlement, is surrounded by the vast irrigated fields of the High Guadiana Plains. Although its heritage is modest, its value lies in its peaceful atmosphere and offering refuge at a long stage. It's an ideal place for introspection and experiencing rural life in Extremadura before arriving at the monumental Mérida.
