San Juan of Alcázar to Madridejos

This stage marks the exciting encounter of the pilgrim with the Atlantic Ocean. The journey begins with a gentle ride across the meseta, but soon starts a long and spectacular descent to the coast. The climax is the descent from the Cruceiro da Armada, from where one gets the first and awe-inspiring views of Cape Finisterre and the vastness of the sea. It's a moment of great excitement. After the pronounced descent, the road arrives at the village of Cee, an important service center in the Costa da Morte, with its port and beach.
