Stage Description
This stage continues across the Manchegan plain, on flat terrain with no difficulties. The landscape remains dominated by vineyards and fields of grain. It is a transition day that brings the pilgrim closer to the province of Cuenca. The arrival in La Roda, famous for its "miguelitos" (hojaldre pastries), is the sweet reward after a day's walking.
The stage between La Gineta and La Roda is a continuation of the journey across the Manchegan plain. The profile is flat, and the landscape remains dominated by vineyards and fields of grain. The arrival at La Roda is relief and a sweet reward. This town is famous throughout Spain for its "miguelitos", delicious pastry pastries with dough and cream that no pilgrim should miss. La Roda has all the necessary services to recover from the walk.
